What does it mean?

Palisis MarketPay is a new functionality that allows our customers to accept payments and issue refunds online. For that, you just need to create and verify your own merchant account directly from the TourCMS Backoffice and start processing your credit card payments from the very beginning, so you don’t need to care about the tedious and hard process of opening a new merchant account, which usually takes several weeks.

With Palisis MarketPay, we are able to perform the following:

  • Onboarding and verification: Easy onboarding process and “Know Your Customer” (KYC) checks from the back office. You can start taking payments immediately after creating the Palisis MarketPay account and adding some basic information about their identity.
  • Payouts: you will receive payouts on a monthly basis. To receive payouts, once the payment is settled, it’s necessary to link a valid bank account.

How can I start the onboarding process?

The onboarding is not visible from the TourCMS back office, so you need to contact us here and we will provide you with a link to start the process.

For legal reasons, it’s needed to confirm both Adyen and Palisis Terms of Service (ToS) before creating a Palisis MarketPay account. Customers can also select a legal entity:

  • Individual: a person or sole proprietorship.
  • Business: a business or company.

Then you will be redirected to the Hosted Onboarding Page in Adyen to complete the signup process, where you need to enter all the required information following the steps we explain in the next section.

What should I do in the KYC process?

After starting the onboarding, you will need to fill in all the information required by the “Know Your Customer (KYC)” process, like company details, address, beneficial owner and the identification document:

  • Identity
  • Company
  • Bank account
  • Photo identification

First of all you will see the onboarding page where you need to click on “Get started” to start the process:

Once this is done, you will see another page where you can add the company and the beneficial owner details. Let’s start with the company details:

Here you have to confirm your authority to do this procedure:

And after your confirmation, you can enter the business details and the address:

Finally, you will see a spinner on the final page, which means that the system is still verifying the entered data. From here, you can finish this part by clicking on “Done” or you can add more details by “Uploading the company document”.

In the end, the status of the company details will be “In further review” and we can continue with adding the ultimate beneficial owner details (UBO):

Finally, both sections will be “In further review”, so you can complete the process and start accepting payments.

After that, you will be redirected to the TourCMS backoffice automatically.

What should I do after that?

If you have already started the onboarding but are still missing some information, every time you log in to the TourCMS backoffice you will see a warning message reminding you to complete the process. Please, note that this message is only visible for users with “Configuration & Setup” permissions. You can find in this article how to manage the users permissions.

If you click in “view & fix issues now” you are redirected to the Palisis MarketPay account status page, where you can click either in A or B to jump to the “KYC” process to complete the pending data.

Once you have completed the process, you will no longer see the warning message, and if you go to Configuration & setup > Credit card payments then you will see your Marketpay account:

And if you click on the link provided by the Support department, then you will see that all the verifications have been passed in the onboarding process.
