Where do I find it?

What does it mean?

Your website search forms have the ability to have auto-complete suggestions populate when a user starts typing. You also have the ability to control these suggestions, via your website dashboard.

How it works - you submit a list of comma-separated key phrases e.g. Edinburgh Castle, Sugarloaf Mountain, Mountain Biking, Grand Canyon

When someone selects one of these, a query is run against TourCMS, searching for the exact keyphrase. If it finds an exact match in one of 4 areas, then that tour will be returned.

Four Areas where keyword matching is performed on:

  1. Tour Name / Tour Name Long
  2. Tour Summary
  3. Tour Location
  4. Short Description

E.g. You add in a key phrase "Burj Khalifa". This appears in your website search box auto-complete area. The following tour (screenshot below) as created in TourCMS will be returned for that key phrase when you search for it on the website. There is a match hit for "Burj Khalifa" in one of the four key areas for this tour.

E.g. 2. You add in a key phrase "Burj Khalifa Dubai". This appears in your website search box auto-complete area. The tour (screenshot below) as created in TourCMS will not be returned to the website for that search term key phrase, as that phrase can't be matched exactlyNowhere in the four key TourCMS data fields for that tour can you find "Burj Khalifa Dubai" all in one string.
