Hello there! In this video, we're going to see how to report ground transports in TourCMS.
What is a Ground Transport?
First of all, what's a ground transport? Well, the ground transport in TourCMS is normally transfers, like from and to the airport or whatever other destination.
To set up a ground transfer product, you want to go first to Products and Tours, and then you set up a new tour. And in Descriptions and Images, you want to choose Transport or Transfer. So there are different options, like Airport to City, City to Airport, Two-Way Return, or just if you don't want to fit in any of these categories, you can just leave it in Others. So this tool, once booked, once sold, will count as a ground transport tour for our reports.
Reporting Ground Transports
So to report the ground transports we're going to have, we want to go to Reports obviously again, and then here on the right side, you have the Ground Transport Report. So if you click on it, you can see that you can choose a certain date, let's say today. You can filter by suppliers, by product filter, if you just want to have confirmed bookings, so all the bookings on the report. And then you can report that.
As you can see, there are two bookings made for this tour for the ground transport. And this gives you a nice overview of the people you are going to have on your ground transport, on your transfers, for a given day. So, especially if you just look at the confirmed bookings, you will exactly know how many bookings have been confirmed for your ground transport.
And that's how it is to report the number of people you will have on your ground transport for any given day.
