Transcript

Hello! This video explains how to configure questions specific to your tours. This configuration is set per tour, allowing you to set up to three questions for each.

Accessing Tour Questions
First, you must log into TourCMS. Go to Tours, click the pencil icon next to your desired tour, and then select Questions.

Question Settings Explained
Each question has the following settings:

  • Activate/Deactivate: Click here to activate the question, and click again to deactivate it. We recommend activating it.
  • Repeat:
    • Once per tour quantity: If the customer has booked three tickets, this question will appear three times.
    • Once per tour: If four tickets have been booked, this question will only show once per tour.
Question Text: This is the question the customer will see. For example: "Please enter the approximate weight for each member of your party in kilograms." You can provide versions in both German and English.
  • Question Explanation: This provides additional information for the customer, explaining why this question about weight is being asked. Again, you can provide this in German and English.
  • Placeholder: This is an example of the input format requested for your staff, for instance, "80." This text will disappear once the user starts typing.
  • Internal Question Identifier: This is for your staff's internal use, for example, "Weight in kilograms."
  • Mandatory Setting:
    • Yes, they can progress: This means customers or travel agents can proceed without answering, though the question is presented.
    • No, they must answer: Customers or travel agents are required to answer the question before progressing.
    • You can choose whether you'd like this question to be mandatory or not. TourCMS provides this information to the API but does not enforce it automatically.
Answer Type: TourCMS accepts various data formats. Currently, we support text, numbers, and dates.

Important Considerations
Please note: If you make any changes here or create a new question, these changes will only affect new bookings.

You have similar settings available for Question 2 and Question 3.

It's very important to save all changes once you've finished configuring your questions.
