Hi! In this video, I will show you how to search for a booking. There are two ways to do so.
Searching for a Booking
Either directly from the Home Page here in the upper right corner by typing in the booking ID, or you can go to the Bookings tab and use Search for the booking with the search function.
Looking at the latest bookings, you know it was made recently, or the latest assigned, if you scroll down a bit. You can search for specific bookings by their booking ID or per customer by name, surname, or email address.
So, the search function allows you to find and filter all bookings in your account. You can filter the bookings by their:
- Product filter.
- Supplier.
- Status of the booking, which can be All, Quotation, Provisional, Confirmed, etc.
- You can also filter it by channel name or number.
- Payment status.
- Who it was assigned to, or made by, the travel agent.
- And in what way do you want to search for the booking? These can be either the booking name, product code, travel agent reference, promo code, or full text.
The text field here is for you to type in the name of the tour if you know it already. For example, I would like to find the booking that I know was made by Majestic Tour sometime last week, but I even know the channel travel agent, for example. So I type in here the name of the tour, which is "Majestic", and I select the date range. You can also filter by the confirmation date of the booking or the start date of the event by clicking here. But in my case, I only want to filter based on when the booking was made.
So click on Search Bookings, and voilà! This shows all the bookings that were made for the Majestic Tour from the 21st of November until today.
