Hello again! In this video, we're going to look at the Interesting Analysis Reports within TourCMS.
Accessing Interesting Analysis Reports
To get to these reports, we go from the TourCMS home page to the Reports tab, which shows Reports, and then you'll see there's a whole section which is called Interesting Analysis. So in total, you have quite a number of reports here within these sections.
Available Reports
1. Sales Per Product Month-Over-Month Report
First of all, we have the Sales Per Product Month-Over-Month Report. Here you can see easily how much you have sold of each of your tours, each of your products, like the current month or the month you choose up here, and the month right before. So in this case, we would compare December 21st with November 21st. You can see the total revenue of December for each product, the revenue for November, you see the deviation in absolute amount (money), and the deviation given as a percentage. You can also download this report as a CSV file, which is suitable for Excel. So if you download it, you will get the same information in a neat report for further use.
2. Year-on-Year Report
Another report we have here in the Interesting Analysis section is the Year-on-Year Report, doing more or less the same thing as the month-on-month report. You can see a comparison between the current year and the previous year here. Last year wasn't too good, as you can see. You can choose the metric actually, if you want to see revenue, or bookings, or people that have been on your tours. You can also change date type (start date, quotation booking, the start date for provisional and confirmed bookings, the start date for confirmed bookings, and so on and so on), so quite a few options here. And you can also choose a product filter if you want or if you need more exact information here. You will always get all the numbers thrown out here, and that's the year-on-year report overview.
3. Channel Summary
Another one we have here is a Channel Summary, the next one in the little list here. The channel summary, so you can see the bookings you had per channel: how many are direct bookings, how many are agent bookings. You can do this for all channels together or just for one individual channel, and you get the results from this channel only here.
4. Lead Time Report
Next, here in our little list is the Lead Time Report. Again, this allows you to select a product filter, a channel to report for, and whether it's only active bookings or all the bookings. What's the lead time? Actually, lead time is the number of days between the booking was first entered into the system and the start date of the booked event. So, you can see very nicely, you get an average here, in this case, let's say people like to book 24 days before the event starts. So that's some very neat information to have for your marketing.
5. Booking Source Report
You can also report by Booking Source. So if you take the whole year, which is about to end, and refresh it, you will get a detailed report on the booking sources, like the agents, no agents assigned, and the agent who did the different bookings. So you can get a quick overview of how every agent sold during the selected time period. Here, once again, you can filter by product filter, by channels, or just by agent.
6. Price Per Click Performance
Another report here is the Price Per Click Performance. So there are no stats here right now, but this basically will give you a list of how many bookings you get versus the clicks your agent did or the customers of your agent did on their product links. Here are the clicks, actually, like Agent Greg Tour. They had four visits to your product here, four clicks on your product. That's also a nice feature to know how your agents are performing.
7. Conversion Rate Report
And also very important, the Conversion Rate Report: how many bookings that enter the system will really convert into confirmed bookings here.
So that's pretty much all for the Interesting Analysis reports. Very simple reports, but they also give you a very good insight into your business and see how everything is working out.
