In this video, we will explain to you how to assign different commissions to different marketplace agents.

Today, we're going to look at how to assign different commission levels to different agents. There's an easy way to do that within Tour CMS.
Commission Types Setup
The first step would be to look at how our commission types are set up. For more info on how to set up commission types, you can have a look at our video on agent commission. In a particular example today, let's imagine that we have the following commission types: Hop-On Hop-Off Products, Night Tour, Road Trips, and Transfers.
And again, for the purposes of our exercise, we would want to assign the following commission levels:
For Specific Agents, we want to do a 15% commission for all of the commission types.
For Major OTAs, we would like to do 15% commission for Hop-On Hop-Off products and Transfers, and 25% commission for Night Tour and Road Trips.
And our third option would be for All Other Agents, where we would like to do 15% commission for Hop-On Hop-Off products and Transfers, and 20% commission for Night Tours and Road Trips.
Configuring Commission Schemes
To do that, we go to Home Page > Configuration and Setup, and then we choose Commission Schemes. Of course, that's after our commission types have been set up in the way shown before.
Here, we've already set up All Agents. If you go to Actions and open it, you would see the Hop-On Hop-Off products have assigned the 15% commission, Night Tour is at 20%, Road Trips is at 20%, and Transfers is at 15%, so all is in order for all agents.
We go back to Commission Types and now we want to amend this inactive commission scheme, or make it active, call it Major OTAs, and then assign 15% commission for Hop-On Hop-Off products, 25% for Night Tours, 25% for Road Trips, and again 15% for Transfers. Scroll down below and make sure to Save Your Changes.
And thirdly, we will create our Specific Agent commission scheme, which we will then open up. It's already set to active, so all we need to do is add up that 15% commission applying to each of the commission types of products available. Save Changes again, and now we have all three of our commission types.
Applying Commission Schemes to Agents
The next step would be to go to Partners > Local Agents, where we would straight away see a list of all connected travel agents. As you can see, some of them already have a scheme assigned to them.
For "A Joy Tour," we can go to Setup, scroll down below, and we can change the commission scheme to Specific Agent. Save All Changes.
With "Civitatis," we can choose Major OTAs and Save All Changes. And with "Colesville Travel," we can choose Agents All and Save All Changes. "Major OTAs" for "C Trip." Like that, continue going until the list has been fully filled in for each of the agents that your account is currently connected to, and make sure for any new accounts or agent accounts that you connect to it that the correct scheme of commission has been chosen.
