Today, we will look at how to connect with Expedia via TourCMS.

Connecting to Expedia
To do that, you would need to go to Partners, Marketplace Agents, and then search for Expedia. Make sure to look at the Verified tab, which will show you the correct agent ID in TourCMS to connect to for major OTAs. If you open through the Manage button, you will actually see a checklist that helps you in the process, specifically for that agent.

The first step would be to sign a contract with Expedia. Next, set up your product on the Expedia supplier extranet. The third step is to go on to the agent search in TourCMS and connect to agent ID "Tor Shift." This is not a live agent, but a connection that TourCMS needs. So you would click on Connect. Make sure to choose Trusted Travel Agent as the connection permissions, and now you've completed.

If you go back, you would need to do the same for Expedia. Click on the correct channel ID that you would like to connect to, and make sure that you choose Trusted Travel Agent in the connection permissions before clicking on the Connect button.

Setting the API Key
And the last step in TourCMS to connect with Expedia would be to set an API key for Expedia. To do that, you'd go back to the Home Page, System and Setup. You would click right at the bottom where you see Expedia's logo under the Third-Party Integrations. And here, in the field Expedia API Key, you can make up your own API key with any random set of characters or numbers, "Logo 21" for example, and Save Changes. You would need to provide this API key to the Expedia team, and with that, your Expedia connection to TourCMS is complete.
