In this video, we will explain you how to manage product availability across several of your sales channels.

We're going to explain how to steer product availability on different channels with TourCMS. We can restrict product availability based on the channel. Before we can enable product filters, we must create categories and groups. For a better understanding, I am going to explain it in several steps.
Step 1: Create Categories and Groups
Please go to your Home Page, click on Configuration, System and Setup. Now, click on Categories and Groups. Click on the hand to activate the group, and then click on Edit. Enter the name you want, in this case, "Sales Channel." Remember to hit Save Changes. Now you need to enter the names of your channels in the categories field within this group. Click on Create and go back to Categories and Groups.
Step 2: Configure the Product Filter
Continue to configure the product filter. Enter the product filter name with the name of your first channel. In my case, this is "Channel OTAs." Please click on Create. Your new product filters should appear in the box above. Hit Setup. Now move the category to the right like this, and Save Changes.
Step 3: Match the Tour
It's time to match the tour. Go to Products, Tours. Choose the tours you want and click on Setup. Now, click on the Categories tab and repeat the same process. Save Changes. Go back to the product filter, and maybe you have to wait a few minutes to see that the product filter now matches one tour.
Step 4: Repeat for All Channels and Tours
Repeat Step 2 for every channel you want to have this functionality for, and repeat Step 3 for every tour you want to distribute.
Step 5: Activate Product Filter on Channels
The next step would be to check that you have done it well. In order to do that, go to your Configuration, Channel, and choose the channels you want to activate the product filter for. Go to Product Filter and tick the box to Restrict Product on Web Sale by Product Filter. Now move it to the right and Save Changes.
