How to configure vouchers and redemptions?

In this video, we will explain you how to configure vouchers and redemptions.

I am going to talk about vouchers and redemptions.

Checking In from the Booking Screen
The first thing I want to show you is how to check in from the booking screen. Please go to one of your bookings, click on the eye icon, scroll down, and click again on Check-in. Now the check-in is done.

Turning On Voucher Redemptions
To turn on the voucher redemptions, please go to your Configuration, System and Setup, then Booking General Settings. Now look for Vouchers, and you will see it there.

You may want to know that TourCMS supports our two-step voucher redemption system:

The first step is about checking. For example, you may want to track if a customer has got on a hotel pickup bus.
The second step is the voucher redemption step, for example, the customer checking in at the visitor centre.
Adding Voucher Link to Email Templates
Moreover, this token can be added to your email template for a link to the hosted TourCMS standard voucher. In order to do that, copy the token, go to one of your channels, and Email Templates. In my case, I'm going to use Confirm Booking. Now paste the token and Save Changes.

Every time you make a booking, the link to the booking voucher will appear in the email you receive. It will be something like this.

Back to Configuration, you can also configure if you want to show the voucher link on the booking screen, right here.

Some of the OTAs use their own voucher and send it to TourCMS. This reference can be found on the booking screen, in the Marketing tab, right here.

Barcode Formats
Lastly, the TourCMS barcode uses the QR barcode format, but now it also accepts Code 128 format.
