In this video, we will explain you how to configure gift codes.

I am going to explain how to set up and use a gift code. Gift codes can be created via Configuration > System Setup > Promo and Gift Codes, in the same way as a promo code.
Creating a Gift Code
You can click here, and a random code will be created automatically. Choose the type (in this case, Gift Code) and assign a name to it. Click on Create.
Now you should configure it using the General Settings. Let's see the one I already created.
Enter the gift amount and the usage limits. You can configure the date range for the gift code; the date range can refer to when the booking is made, or to the travel date range, or a combination of both. Moreover, you can decide which days of the week you want the gift code to be valid according to the tour's start date.
With Applicable Tours and Options, you can choose which tours the gift code applies to. In my case, "Granada Hop On Hop Off." Scroll down the page and Save Changes.
Activating on Your Channel
Remember to check on your channel that you have active promo and gift codes. Please go to Configuration > Channel > Step 3: Customer Information. Scroll down and click here.
How it Works
Now let's see how it works. Go to one of your tours and make a booking through the booking engine. In my case, "Granada Hop On Hop Off." Now we enter the gift code, and well done, your gift code works!
Now, if you go to the booking, you will be able to see the code that has been applied to the reservations.
