I'm going to explain how to set up booking engine confirmation emails. They can be edited in Configuration, Channels, and Email Templates.
There are three special email templates per website which can be configured to be sent either manually or automatically at particular stages once the customer has completed a booking. They can contain data regarding the customer's product and booking.
Special Email Templates per Website
Let's see what these templates are:
- The first one is New Booking Email. You can send it to a customer or agent automatically once they made an online booking, or you can send it within the main booking screen for an individual booking, right here.
- The second one is Provisional Booking Email. If you use a supported payment gateway, the mail can be configured to be sent automatically once the deposit payment has been received.
- And the third one is Confirmed Booking. This template can be configured to be sent automatically once the full balance has been received.
Remember to click on this box to enable the template. And you should be aware that these are only the website-specific emails for a particular stage of the booking process, but you can also load unlimited email templates for manual sending.
Standard Email Templates for Manual Sending
In order to do that, click on Configuration, System and Setup, Booking Templates. These templates are used for standard emails that are sent to customers, agents, or suppliers, which can be configured right here.
